Geologist Notes:
History tells us that this unique sandstone operation dates back to 1868 bringing us not only fine sandstone products today but aged or weathered blocks and slabs. The unearthed and abandon rock is either a subtle grey or beige color. Fluting and core drills have adds texture, an effect from the coring process when unearthing the block. The antique or weathered slabs have a style of their own and help to create an unusual stonescape.
